Become a Member of Pathfinders
Welcome to Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance!

Pathfinders is a charity that advocates for and supports young people and adults with muscle weakening conditions. We are always looking to grow our community of enthusiastic people, and we are delighted you would like to join us.

The heart of our organisation is our members. We offer three levels of membership to anyone over the age of 18:
- Voting Member
- Associate Member
- Supporting Member

Membership is free so that we are able to reach as many people as possible. Members of all types will be able to receive our monthly newsletter, and be the first to hear about our events, research and campaigning opportunities.

Each type of membership has unique benefits:

VOTING MEMBERSHIP
- The right to vote on strategic priorities, on who becomes a trustee, to approve our annual report and on major changes to our organisation
- Open only to adults living with Muscular Dystrophy or other related muscle-weakening conditions as we are a user-led organisation
- Invitation to join our dedicated Facebook Peer Support Group
- Discounts and early invitations to all social and other events

Note: Voting membership requests are authorised by our trustees and you will receive an email once your membership has been approved, in the meantime you will automatically become an Associate Member

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
- Open only to adults living with Muscular Dystrophy or other related muscle-weakening conditions to create space for people to interact with others with shared lived experiences
- Invitation to join our dedicated Facebook Peer Support Group
- Discounts and early invitations to all social and other events

SUPPORTING MEMBERSHIP
- Open to family, friends, assigned appropriate adults, health professionals and paid carers
- Early invitations to all social and other events
- Kept up to date with what we are working on and opportunities to join projects we undertake
