What makes something (dance or music) "bluesy"? It's a feeling, sure. But it's more than just a feeling. Some of the technical aspects of blues aesthetic we'll dig in to are:

- Asymmetry and shape
- Integration and athleticism
- Our relationship to the beat
- Coolness and personal authenticity

We'll analyse footage of dancers - old and new - to inform and inspire our movement.
