What is 'Music PLAY'?

“Music Play” is a guided playtime for young children that focuses on music. A skillful “Music Play” instructor weaves a variety of short, yet rich, songs and chants to musically  “bathe” children in music, the same way children are “bathed” in language.

What does a “Music Play” instructor do with the musical responses of the children?

The “Music Play” instructor listens and watches for musical responses made by the children.  Vocal sounds are woven into the musical context of lesson songs and chants.  Movement responses are noticed, copied and adapted to lesson music.

  • There are no credits issued for missed classes due to illness or vacations. Tuition payments hold your spot in the class. 

Will you be attending on your own, or with a caregiving partner? *
The rate for classes is $100/7-week term. 
While charging tuition is necessary for operating Music Play classes, cost should not be a prohibiting factor. In order to keep classes accessible for all, we offer tiered pricing. Siblings receive a 10% discount.

the parking lot entrance is on E S College St.
