KainaCon Panel Submissions
Help us make the most out of the very first KainaCon! We're looking for members of the community to host virtual panels. What is a panel and what should it be about? It's time to entertain, geek out, chat, and chill with other KainaKaa members about things we're all passionate about. Do you know 38 Amazing Behind The Scenes Secrets about everyone's favorite jungle snake? Are you an artist willing to share tips and tricks of the trades with others? Consider yourself an expert anime geek? Have some amazing books to share with others? Chocked full of writing advice? Then here's your chance to shine! Please keep in mind that in accordance with our rules, all content must be PG-13 in nature.
Panel time slots can be 30 or 60 minutes long. Panels will be hosted on KainaKaa's discord. Not a member? Now's your chance to join! Panels can be hosted entirely through text, or if you (and others) feel comfortable, can also be a combination of audio and visual (Discord allows screen sharing, which is great for sharing slideshows, videos, art live streams, etc.). (Note: Just because a panelist chooses to run a panel with audio does NOT mean you need to turn your audio on to participate)
Panel submissions will be open for two weeks. They will close midnight(ish) (Sunday, September 20th). After that, panel submissions will be reviewed by the admin team. If there are too many panels submissions to fit in the time allotted for KainaCon, then all of the ideas will be shared with the community and put up for voting!
**Date is TBD (but we're leaning towards Saturday, October 3rd)**
We'll probably start this event in after afternoon and will run accordingly throughout the day depending on interest and how many panels are submitted. All times will be in EST.
