Continuing Professional Development Survey
Continuing professional development (CPD) is the process by which IBITA Instructors and Instructor Candidates keep updated to meet the needs of the organization and their own professional development. It includes the continuous acquisition of new knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable competent practice in the context of multidisciplinary patient/client care.  A role of the Education Committee is to develop, support and promote a culture of CPD to develop teaching practices and that of the Peer Review Committee to monitor CDP. It is timely to reflect on the nature of professional development in IBITA and to acquire a better understanding of what Instructors and Instructor Candidates currently do to develop their teaching practice. This understanding of current attitudes and behavior’s with respect to CPD will then provide a good basis on which to develop resources and educational days to support the IBITA membership.
Both committees would be grateful if Instructors and Instructor Candidates would complete the below survey in relation to this.
