Caravan is a weekly kids club (age 4 through 6th grade) committed to the physical, social, mental, and spiritual growth of children. It uses an active, hands-on learning approach to help kids discover, develop, experience and grow. Caravan also teaches children the Articles of Faith of the Church of the Nazarene, information about prominent figures in Nazarene church history, and valuable skills to help them develop spiritually, socially, mentally, and physically.
The Benson’s Buddies program is for children ages four and five. Benson, the imaginary double-decker bus, escorts young kids on weekly trips as they discover the church, the zoo, the farm, school, and many other places. The program teaches children about the world in which they live and lays the foundation for Christian living.
We're beginning an exciting new Caravan program at Mission Church of the Nazarene with new, fun and interesting badge work, and awards. We will meet Sunday afternoons from 3:00-4:15 pm beginning Sunday, September 18, 2022.
In addition to the Caravan lesson, there will be a time of bonus organized outdoor play time for the kids from 4:15-5:00 pm for all that are interested. All of these sessions are run by adults who have been screened to work with children, along with supervised teen-helpers.
To enroll your child, fill out the enrollment form below (complete one for each child). You'll need to complete the authorization for emergency treatment of minor form the first day of Caravan.
The first four weeks are provided at no cost. If your child would like to continue, please submit applicable enrollment fees shown below. Payment for the year will be due on or before October 9th.
There is an end-of-the-year weekend campout event called SoCal Round-Up that occurs in May as a culmination of the years’ events. The cost of Round-Up is included in the fee for all K-6th graders.
