Energy Transition Symposium Registration - Spring 2022

The UMass Energy Transition Symposium is a showcase for energy transition research and campus climate action at UMass Amherst, including (but not limited to) work in STEM, social sciences, humanities, business, and interdisciplinary studies. All members of the UMass and 5 colleges community with projects related to energy transition, environmental justice, and sustainability will have an opportunity to present their projects at the poster session.

12:45 - 4:00 pm | Poster sessions (A 12:45 - 1:45 pm; B 2:30-3:30 pm);  A Keynote Address from Secretary of Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA), Kathleen A. Theoharides (1:45 pm); Presentation of the UMass Carbon Mitigation Plan (3:30 pm) | Location: Student Union Ballroom
Dimensions for the poster: We will use 36"x48"

The event is sponsored by ELEVATE (https://www.energytransitionumass.org/elevate), in partnership with the Energy Transition Institute, the iCons Program, Clean Energy Extension, Campus Sustainability, and the Wind Energy Fellows Program.

Energy Transition Symposium - Career panel
The goal of the career explorations panel is for undergraduates and graduate students to see a range of careers available to them in the clean energy world and learn from the panelists' experience. Currently, this years panelists are:

Energy Transition Symposium - Poster Sessions and Keynote Speaker
The poster sessions will highlight projects related to energy transition, environmental justice, and sustainability from members of the UMass and 5 colleges community. Secretary of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs Kathleen A. Theoharides will be the keynote speaker. The UMass Carbon Mitigation Plan will be presented.
