KMA Teen Council Application 2022/23
The Katonah Museum of Art (KMA) is looking for curious and committed high school teenagers (gr. 10-12) to join its Teen Council. The ideal candidates are eager to:
- Dive into the world of art and artists
- Dream up, organize, and lead programs for other teens to engage around art
- Develop friendships and work collaboratively with other arts-interested teens in the Council
- Experience the inner workings of a museum and make connections with KMA staff
- Strengthen their communication, self-confidence, and networking skills
- Make museums more accessible and relevant to youth audiences

KMA Teen Council meets weekly for discussions, brainstorm and planning sessions, as well as special insider tours and activities. All members are encouraged to share their voice and help create a warm, welcoming environment.
