Homeschool Program Registration

Homeschool Programs for take place on the second Tuesday of the month from 1:00-3:30 pm. Cost $20 Members, $22 for nonmembers. Register for all four programs (Spring) and save! $70 M/$80 NM

Fall 2022:

  • December: Exploring Royalty- Take inspiration from the fantastic works by illustrator and author Pamela Zagarenski. Paint your own storybook page with yourself as the main character!
Spring 2023

  • January 10: Chroma Color- Explore the exhibition Chromatopia: Stories of Color in Art while learning the interesting history of color though cultures. Make a special “dot art” work inspired by aboriginal works featured in the exhibition.

  • February 14: Kids Around the World- Explore the special photography exhibition Where Children Sleep and learn about how people live, play, and learn around the world. Make a game from a different country.

  • March 14: -Learn about the art practice Zentangle with certified instructor and museum Docent, Jessica Dykes. Explore pattern, design, and composition with this meditative practice.

  • April- No Homeschool Day with April Break Vacation Programs

  • May 9: Bug Life: See the creepy crawlies in the special exhibition Small Wonders: Insects in Focus. Create a work of art that demonstrates a butterfly life cycle.
