To allow students to understand and to have an overview of the catering industry in Hong Kong, the Student Centre has invited Mr. Alan LIU to give a speech on the market operation, administration and professional development in this field.

Mr. Alan LIU has 18 years of work experience in food and beverage industry. As part of the management of the corporation he is working for, he is responsible for a wide range of duties including restaurant operation, administrative work, personnel management and staff training. He holds various professional qualifications. He has actively participated in catering competitions and won awards.

The seminar covers the below topics*:

iii) Administration (i.e. cost control, profitability, personnel management)
