Funded by the Louisiana Department of Education, the Energize Project is a complementary in-depth training to prepare 6-12th grade Louisiana public and charter school teachers for the Computer Science (5652) Praxis exam. The Energize Project participants will receive 40 hours of training at no cost and will be eligible for a $350 stipend upon completion. Cost of the Praxis Exam ($130) is provided directly to each school district through funding from the LDOE and is to be reimbursed at the discretion of each district.
The Energize Project is made possible through a partnership with Louisiana Department of Education, the Northshore Regional LaSTEM Center, Southeastern Louisiana University Computer Science, and Southeastern Louisiana University College of Education.
