A growing interest in this emerging B2B software-as-a-service solution has created the need for a Business Development Representative to drive sales across the USA and Canada.

As a full-time Business Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact with potential business clients through prospecting. In order to be successful, you will need to be a well-organized go-getter who is driven to exceed goals and enjoys interacting with potential customers to solve business problems in a structured manner. Although we are based out of Sydney Australia, you will be joining a distributed global workforce with team members working out of eight different countries.

Simply Stakeholders helps multi-national corporations enhance their stakeholder engagement and assists them by delivering a better understanding of stakeholders involved in multiple projects, deeper insights into their stakeholder management, and assists with enhanced data-driven decision making.

What You Will Do:
  • As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact with potential clients through outbound prospecting:
  • You will be cold calling and cold emailing on a daily basis to generate new pipeline
  • Build a pipeline of qualified business for the sales team
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through lead generation methods, networking and online/offline marketing
  • You will also be collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing and Customer Success to learn more about product, positioning, and messaging
  • Kick off sales cycles by identifying and qualifying future customers
  • Updating our client database with customer contact and selling activity information
  • Write personalized messages to prospects
  • Set and book qualified meetings for Account Executives
  • Advancing: This role will have the potential to progress to a full sales cycle role (from lead sourcing to closing).
Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated, persuasive, creative problem solver and results-oriented
  • 2 to 3 years as an SDR/BDR experienced with selling B2B SaaS based software solutions, web development projects, and any kind of digital solutions
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software (Hubspot a plus)
  • Well organized and experienced in consistently achieving outbound activity goals (calls, emails, meetings booked) in a remote working environment
  • Proven experience in lead generation and sales increase
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  •  Bachelor’s degree preferred
