The expedition will occur from 20th-27th June 2019, and the video conference time slots available are:
* Tuesday 25th June at  11:15am AEDT (9:15am AWST) and
* Wednesday 26th June at 11:15am AEDT (9:15am AWST).

Due to the potential of multiple classes joining the video conference, classes must be at or between year/grade 4 and year/grade 8, to ensure the language of the scientist can be relevant for all students.

Are an Australian school teacher, and teach at or between year/grade 4 - year/grade 8.

Have access to internet and also have internet permissions to access to Zoom video conferencing (and YouTube for pre-recorded videos) during class time.

Communicate some of the background information to your class provided on the Bush Blitz website (or use own information if more relevant, depending on curriculum).

Incorporate learning activities/lessons to accompany the program - i.e. Lesson themes on biodiversity, ecology or environments.

Watch pre-expedition video of scientist with class before the expedition and gather list of students questions to submit before 19th June preferably.

Be able to log into the video conference on Zoom with scientist on:
Tuesday 25th June at 11:15am AEDT (9:15 AWST), or
Wednesday 26th June 11:15am AEDT (9:15am AWST)

Understand that not all students' questions may get answered. This will depend on: appropriateness, relevance, time limit and ability of scientist.

Understand that this is a pilot program, and is operating from a remote location. We will do our absolute best to ensure connectivity allows the videos to be uploaded in time. However we recommend you have a backup lesson in place in the event of a technical failure.  

Complete an evaluation survey on the program so we can understand how to improve the program for next time
