Welcome to our new KCMS Masterclass series featuring our talented faculty sharing their extensive knowledge on a wide variety of topics! The Masterclass Series is open to KCMS students and the wider community!

Masterclasses are held on the dates indicated in our Performance Studio at:
Kelowna Community Music School, 728 Dehart Avenue

TRADITIONAL MASTERCLASS:
Students arrive prepared to perform a relevant piece of music for public adjudication. Each student will receive 15 minutes of one-on-one time with a public audience.

LECTURE STYLE MASTERCLASS:
This is a public lecture format masterclass in which everyone participates equally as an audience. There is no one-on-one time in this format.
 


VACCINATION STATUS and MASKS
- Given the small group size of our Masterclasses, proof of vaccination is not required by participants.
- Masks are mandatory inside KCMS at all times for everyone over the age of 2 except those who are unable to place or remove a mask themselves.



FEES
Current KCMS student fee: $10 per masterclass
Community members: $20 per masterclass

Minimum 3 participants are required to run each masterclass. Fees are non-refundable once the class has been confirmed.
There is no fee difference between masterclass types or between performers/audience members. Our faculty will do their best to work with all participants within the allotted time.
