Deeper Than Our Skins Book Club Application
Cordelia A. Greene Library in Castile will be hosting a teen book club this upcoming Winter and Spring. Teens will be given and expected to read 4 books. They will be:

  • The Shadow Hero written by Gene Luen Yang and illustrated by Sonny Liew
  • Dreaming in Indian: Contemporary Native American Voices Edited by Lisa Charleyboy and Mary Beth Leatherdale
  • The Revolution of Evelyn Serrano by Sonia Manzano
  • Mother of the Sea by Zetta Elliott

We will meet 1 time per book for a general discussion and then a 5th time to host a community event inspired by the ideas of the books. Food will be provided at all meetings.
