Parents will be provide a secure link to upload the child's physical. Students may not participate in any practice or game until they have a current physical on file with the school nurse. No exceptions.

I agree to abide by the following: *

Participation in athletic sports is a privilege and not a right and subject to school handbook policies. Remember it is an opportunity to learn, and have FUN, not just to please parents and/or coaches.

I will remember to start each game with a prayer and model Christian values throughout any game or practice. Welcome my opponents when they arrive and congratulate them sincerely at the end of competition.

I will remember that control of my behavior, and that of my players, represent my school and reflect it's philosophy.

I will practice and encourage good sportsmanship from fellow players, coaches, officials, and parents at every game and practice.

I will be on time for every practice and game that I can, and will notify my coach in advance.

I will do my very best to listen and learn from my coaches at every practice and game, working hard to improve my skills, and self-discipline, and help my team

I will never argue, complain or show disrespect about an officials call or decision.

I will remember to accept both victory and defeat with pride and honor-never be boastful or bitter.

I will remember to follow the rules and regulations set by the school, coach and sport, for it may reflect on the amount of playing time I may receive.

I work hard to maintain grades (classwork, homework, projects, and tests) and effort in school. I will always work to my potential.

I will attend a full school day and be prepared for Physical Education the day of practice or competition.

I will remember to return all school property, including uniforms to the school in a timely manner. If my uniform is not returned, my report card can be withheld. If my uniform is lost, or damaged, the school may access a fee to replace it.

I will treat my coaches, other players, officials, and fans with respect regardless of race, gender, creed, or abilities, and I will expect to be treated accordingly.

I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care and encouragement for all children participating in youth sports by following this Parent Code of Ethics: *

I will remember my behavior, and that of my child represents St. Mark School and reflect its philosophy.

I will not place a burden on my child to win games. The purpose of youth is to develop physical, mental, and social skills.

I will do my best to make youth sports for fun for my child.

I will support efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from youth sports activities.

I will refrain from being a sideline coach or referee. I will attend games to provide positive support for all players on all teams.

I will support efforts to provide an environment for my child that is free from drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. I will personally refrain from their use at all youth sports events.

I will remember the game is for the players and not for the parents.

I will ask my child to treat ALL players, coaches, fans, and officials with respect regardless of race, gender, creed, or ability.

I understand that my son/daughter will be expected to attend all scheduled practices and games.

I understand that my child must be in acceptable academic standing in order to participate.

I understand that my child must be in attendance at school the day of a practice/game. And, if game/practice is on a PE class day, my child must be prepared and participate. In the case weekend practice/games, my child will have been in attendance the Friday prior.
