The Halton-Peel and the Durham Chapters of POC are joining forces again this month to offer the very best virtual meeting experience to our valued members and guests! Together, we will learn, grow and network.

This month's presentation is called "Protecting Your Human Firewall" and our speaker is Darnley Greson Jr. We rely heavily on our technologies and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. Every minute of every day, technologies all over the world are being attacked - much like our own human firewalls. This presentation will go through three key components: The Risks - Cyber Attacks And You - Protect Yourself Without A Security Team.
We will learn the effects COVID-19 had on cybersecurity work culture, understanding the mindset shift you need to make in order to ensure protection against cybercrime, basic cybersecurity frameworks that every business must use today. No matter how big or small your business is, by implementing these aspects in your daily business life, you will obtain the right cyber-hygiene to protect you and your business for years to come - all without technology! The old school is now the new school.

Darnley Greson Jr is the CEO of Darn IT Group. He leads his national cybersecurity firm specializing in protecting businesses against daily cyber threats. He leads his team in getting the right solutions for the SMB community, and always putting education at the forefront of all levels in organizations. Over a decade of technology experience in various business verticals, such as banking, national security, medical, and education, he educates business leaders based on sound information technology and cybersecurity practice. He is able to utilize various cyber-aware skill sets to incorporate protective solutions for his clients.

We look forward to "seeing" you at the meeting!
