Please review the following requirements for the Work-Based Learning Program. Your application verifies you have read and understand the requirements.
1. Must have a job by the second week of school.
2. Must have passed all classes the previous year and be in good academic standing (no need to repeat classes).
3. Must not have excessive absences the previous year.
4. Must not have discipline referrals from the previous year.
5. Must be able to work at least 15 hours a week (2 periods of WBL). This does include hours worked on weekends.
6. Must not be involved in an activity/sport that has practice every afternoon, limiting your work hours. This includes band, football, etc.
7. Must turn in monthly timesheets signed by your employer.
8. Must conduct a quarterly evaluation at job site with supervisor and WBL coordinator.
9. Must complete all career/work ethics assignment each week (posted in Canvas)
10. Must clock out on a daily basis.
11. Must remain employed during the entire school year. 2 week deadline to find a new job if needed.
VIOLATIONS OF ANY OF THE ABOVE WILL BE GROUNDS FOR DENYING ADMISSION OR REMOVAL FROM THE WORK BASED LEARNING PROGRAM.
