To build progress in Arkansas, we have to play the long game. Ranked 50th in voter participation, young and inactive voters can make a huge difference in the next election (as Arkansas faces the possibility of Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Democrats remaining a superminority in the state legislature), and the Young Democrats are ready mobilize to increase turnout, educate our peers, and build a community of progressive activists across the state.

Whether that is through direct community outreach like our eviction intervention project, organizing events and marches (like North East Arkansas Pride), or pushing for change in the State Democratic Party, the Young Democrats of Arkansas allows you to make your voice heard and to do something about what is happening in Arkansas politics. From our YDAR Constitution, check your eligibility, "Any person not fewer than fourteen (14) years of age and not more than thirty-five (35) years of age who has openly and in good faith declared their dedication to the fundamental principles, objectives, and platforms of YDAR shall be eligible for membership in this organization."
