While our focus is on health and wellness, we welcome ALL respectful, consent-oriented, peace-loving humans to apply to our business collective.

Applicants must be insured and credentialed in their field, have good standing the in the community, and have TWO SPACE RENTALS at full price with NO ISSUES in order to join our business collective.

  • This is a public calendar that appears right on the home screen of our website
  • When you add your clients'/students' emails to your event, you can advertise your services directly to them -- tell them about new offerings or upcoming changes to your schedule

  • Create an event and we will add it to our Facebook page and calendar

AVAILABLE WITH MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP

We pay a premium for these extra monthly services and manage them.
Add-ons are paid monthly via our PayPal and are separate from the membership dues.

Meetup Pro ($140/mo. value)
  • Add your events, workshops, and classes to our calendar 
  • Once your content is approved, you can add it to the Meetup calendar yourself
Canva Pro ($12/mo. value)
  • Design you own professional flyers 
  • Use advanced tools and premium pictures and graphics
Mailchimp ($33/mo. value)
  • Broaden your reach for your events, workshops, and classes 
  • Get listed in our monthly and weekly newsletters
MindBody software ($169/mo. value)
  • Students and guests will see your offerings on the MindBody calendar, the app on their phone, and can signup right there, and pay you directly
  • You create your own event descriptions, bio, head shot, and event pics and email them to Bobbi Reed
  • Live stream your classes on MindBody
    We will need at least 3 people paying for this option monthly to make it cost-effective. 
    Students will be able to view your class from the comfort of their home. 
    You do not have to be present at Zen Loft to use this option, and must have your own recording equipment.
I am interested in using the following add-ons for marketing and advertising:
SPACE RENTAL GUIDELINES
During your trial period, these areas are most important to us:

1. Pay for your space rental on time
  • Reserve your time slot in advance
  • Stay within your rented time, or pay for another hour if timing permits
  • Don't cancel your event in fewer than 24 hrs/7 days--depending on which room and the size of the event
2. Clean up after yourself
  • Return the room to its original state (or better), and vacate the room by the end of your rented time slot
  • If set up and break down will each take half an hour, you must pay for that time at the hourly rate
  • You are welcome to coordinate with the next person before and after you—their contact info will be in the notes section of the Google Calendar (make sure that your contact info is in there, too)
3. Collect money directly from your students/clients/patrons
  • List your direct links to your online payment options
4. Communicate well with everyone involved
  • Life happens--make sure that your students know if there is a time change or cancellation by contacting them directly and adjusting your class/event in the public Google Calendar
5. DO NOT bring substances into the space
  • See the City of Aurora's guidelines around temporary liquor permits and abide by all their rules and regulations
6. Do not light anything on fire (must be stated for our insurance)
  • If something did get lit on fire, please extinguish it before you leave
7. You must have business insurance
  • Before you teach or host anything to the public, you must be insured
  • There are lots of options for this, but you must also add us as "additionally insured"
8. Do not cancel your weekly class for at least one month
  • You must find a sub at your own expense if you need to cancel your class
  • We can make a new agreement with a different schedule the following month
  • If you can't commit to a 3 month schedule, you can post a weekly class series for 4-5 weeks -- We pay to advertise weekly classes and our students need to trust that our schedule is accurate

    If you are approved, we will send you instructions on how to add Zen Loft, the owner, the landlord, and the building owner as "additionally insured" to your policy.
    This must be done before you can join.
  3. Any information for advertising and marketing purposes, such as head shot, bio, pictures of you practicing in the space for event photos, etc.
    If you are using our logo or anything business-related other than our address, we will need to pre-approve of any marketing materials.

ATTENTION STUDENTS:
  • If you are NOT a CERTIFIED YOGA INSTRUCTOR, you must be far enough along in your program to be approved by your school to teach the public, otherwise you may not advertise yourself as such. You may call it "stretching," but be upfront and honest with the public about what you are offering and that your are not in fact a certified yoga instructor. Informed consent for the public is of the utmost importance.
  • If you are NOT a LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST, you must be currently enrolled in a legit program and be approved to practice by the head of your massage school's department. You may only work on fully clothed clients in a chair massage or table tune-up capacity at public events with the door open.
AFTER you have completed all prerequisites AND you have emailed both Zen Loft and Bobbi Reed the requested info above, if you have not heard back within 24 hours, please text the owner, Emily "Sunshine" Beaupre, at (630) 465-5638 to let her know that you're waiting on a response.
