The CAMOC Barcelona Annual Conference 2021 will take place on December 1-3, 2021, with the theme "Connecting Cities, Connecting Citizens. Towards a Shared Sustainability".

CAMOC and MUHBA (Barcelona History Museum) propose three days of shared work to reflect on the main areas of a new urban museology for the 21st century. It sets the goal of moving from the concept of “city museum” to the “citizens’ museum”, firmly grounded on the research carried out in the fields of urban history, heritage management and citizen participation.
The conference programme will assert itself on three concepts: museum work, reporting the city, and enhancing citizenship, furthermore a workshop on city museums in fast-growing metropolises will be held.
This event will take place on-site; however, we will also be streaming it online.
