Under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the 7th International Cairo Exhibition of Innovation (Cairo Innovates) is an initiative of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology to create an annual innovation platform where innovators, technology transfer centres, technology companies, enablers, and others can meet and share their innovative ideas.

Cairo Innovates aims to stimulate scientific innovation in Egypt by creating a hub that excites people about science and research, connects innovators to decision-makers and key stakeholders, and allows local and regional innovators to exhibit and commercialise their inventions and innovative solutions. The two-day event includes sessions, workshops, competitions, panels, and inspiring stories of rising talents.
