Reservation Request: Group Kayaking at the UCLA Marina Aquatic Center
Reservations are required for kayak groups of 10 or more individuals and should be made at least one week in advance. If you have less than 10 people in your group, you are not eligible to make a group reservation and should just book in the MAC rental portal. Currently enrolled UCLA Students are eligible for free sit-on-top kayak rentals for a group up to 20 participants. There is a $100 flat rate fee for student groups over 20 (up to 30 maximum participants) and a $5 guest fee applies for non-students sharing a double kayak.

This form does not guarantee a reservation. Requests will be processed within three business days. If you do not get a confirmation, please follow up with the MAC office via email at mac@recreation.ucla.edu

Reservations are for groups with 10 or more participants. If you have less than 10 people in your group, you do not need a reservation and kayaks are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The maximum group size that can be accommodated in a a single reservation is 30 participants.
Will most or all of the participants be currently enrolled UCLA Students? *
Participants without current UCLA Student status will be subject to a $5 guest fee if in a double kayak with a student, or will need to pay the public rental rates as outlined on our rental webpage: https://recreation.ucla.edu/mac-equipment-rentals 
Date and Time Requests
Please submit up to three possible reservation times that will work for your group. Based on openings in the reservation system, group requests are only available in specific time increments. If the times listed below do not work for you group, please include the optional notes box what you are looking for.

NOTE: Groups that cannot work within the proposed time blocks will take longer to confirm and may not be approved. Please make sure you have confirmation from the MAC office that your date and time will work.

Reservations will be for 1 hour and 45 minutes to include check in, kayak water time, and clean up. Groups must arrive promptly at their start time and must return to the dock 15 minutes before their reservation end time.

Thursday and Friday Afternoons:          3:15pm-5:00pm

Saturday and Sunday:    10:15am-12:00pm, 1:00pm - 2:45pm,  3:15pm-5:00pm
