Arts @ CCC: Plein Air Painting Demo
Presented by the Arts at Camden County College with the Downtown Berlin Revitalization Committee

What:
Witness the art of painting "en plein air" (a French term from the mid 19th century and popularized by the Impressionists) in this talk and demonstration with local artist, Neal Hughes. He will discuss his approach to capturing the essence of the subject quickly while emphasizing strong design to ensure a successful painting. The subject this time being of course the beautifully restored Historic Dill House in Berlin, NJ! You'll also have the chance to explore the house and grounds and learn more about its rich history. Feel free to bring your own paint supplies and/or sketchbooks to follow along, or simply enjoy the day observing and listening. 

This demonstration and talk is FREE and open to all. However, space is limited to 20 participants, please register individually below.

About the Artist: 
Neal Hughes is a signature member of Oil Painters of America, The American Impressionist Society, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society and he was elected a Fellow of the American Society of Marine Artists. He currently participates in many of the well known plein air competitions and festivals around the country.
