☀️ Virtual Sundance 2022 Form 💃🏼
Sundance Film Festival cancelled its in-person festival (January 20-30, 2022) last week, so we have a lot of housing slots that are flying around in Park City, Utah across a number of houses. A number of us are still going to watch the virtual movies together, while cooking, coworking and skiing in a covid-safe manner. But a good number of original holders are willing to sell their slots for reasonable offers.
Please fill out this form if you are interested in.
To give a rough sense of what people are looking to recoup: the original rates for Sundance housing for first half rate is about $100-125/person/night for a room with >2 people (e.g. bunkbeds, trundles), and $150+/person/night in a room with 2 people (one queen/king bed or two twins, so $300+ for a private room), and $185+/person/night in a room with a queen/bed and a private bathroom (so $370+ for the room). Rates were generally *slightly* lower second half.
In addition, if you are not taking a whole house for the crew, there will be a nightly cost on top of the housing. This includes food, cleaning, car rentals to run errands, any damage to the house, travel subsidies for people who are helping make everything run, discounts for the people who help cook dinner/breakfasts. WE DO NOT KNOW THE COST UNTIL THE ENTIRE TRIP IS OVER and you will likely get your follow up bill in mid-May once all the cost are calculated. This likely will be around $30/head/night in 2022 to cover the costs for running the entire operation and discounts for the various people across the houses who are helping out.
