Plainfield Tri Kappa Gingerbread Christmas Exhibitor Application Form
We are thrilled to announce that Plainfield Tri Kappa has been given the clearance to hold our
50th Annual Gingerbread Christmas Fine Arts and Crafts Show. Our large arts and crafts fair features over 130 vendors, and has become a tradition in Hendricks County, as well as Central Indiana.
It will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Plainfield High School, located at One Red Pride Drive. We are continuing to plan for this event even during the Covid-19 Pandemic and anticipating that our event will go on as planned.

Following is important information for the 2021 Gingerbread Christmas:
Applications must be received by September 1, 2021. Letters of acceptance will be emailed by mid-October 2021. All remaining applicants will be notified by email and may be placed on a waiting list in case of future cancellations. Please complete the application using the email address you wish to receive all correspondence. (THE EMAIL ADDRESS USED TO COMPLETE THIS FORM WILL BE THE ONE USED TO EMAIL ALL CORRESPONDENCE FROM THE GINGERBREAD CHRISTMAS COMMITTEE.)

Exhibitors will be judged on the quality, creativity, and marketability of their items. Please be aware that we have had a successful event for over 40 years and this is attributed to the fact that we do have a new committee each year to preserve bias and originality of products offered. Your loyalty and patience are greatly appreciated.  As a reminder, ONLY handcrafted items will be considered for the show.

NO ANTIQUES, IMPORTED OR COMMERCIAL ITEMS WILL BE ALLOWED – YOU WILL BE ASKED TO REMOVE THESE ITEMS FROM YOUR DISPLAY AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR FUTURE SHOWS.

The rental fee for booth spaces is $120.00, except for non-profit organizations. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR BOOTH RENTAL FEE AT THIS TIME. The booth space size is 10 feet long by 10 feet wide. We have had requests for larger booth spaces; however, this would limit our selection of vendors available to the public.

Tables and chairs are not available for use from the high school, and Tri Kappa is unable to provide tables and chairs for
exhibitors. All exhibitors are required to bring their own displays, tables and chairs.

No varnish or Krylon spraying will be allowed in the building.

Also, no cooking on open flames will be allowed.

Exhibitors must supply a business card or receipt with all purchases, including a method for customers to contact the exhibitor with any questions or concerns about their purchases.

Any exhibitor who takes orders for future delivery must send us a sample of their order form with their application.

Exhibitors are asked to make child care arrangements for the day of Gingerbread Christmas. We are not in a position to allow unsupervised (by an adult) children to remain on the premises.

Exhibiting in Gingerbread Christmas one year does not automatically guarantee exhibiting the next year. Every application is evaluated and we do not give preference to those that were exhibitors in the past.

ALL EXHIBITORS HANDLING FOOD MUST HAVE A PERMIT TO DO SO FROM THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. ABSOLUTELY NO HOMEMADE FOOD IS TO BE SOLD BY FOR-PROFIT BOOTHS.

The Hendricks County Board of Health monitors the show each year for permits, and the vendor will have to close the booth if they are found not to have a current food permit. Booth rental will NOT be refunded.

Each vendor is required to donate an item for our raffle. Your donation is tax deductible.

We look forward to receiving your application! If you have any questions, please email us at: PlainfieldTriKappa.Vendors@gmail.com .  To ensure the fastest response time, it is highly recommended that questions are emailed.
