Song Flight Application

Song Flight is a global initiative that connects the children of Ukraine with other kids around the world through stories, songs, and creative activities. The goal is to help all kids in the program develop the emotional intelligence (EQ) they'll need to become kind, empathic, and capable adults.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

Below are the basic requirements to take part.

If you feel you and your class or group would be a good fit, please fill out the questionnaire below. 

1. English Speaking: We will be adding other languages as soon as we can hire translators.

2. Age: 8 -12 

3. Reliable Internet Access and the Ability to Meet via Zoom (or another live streaming platform): We'll be doing asynchronous video chats, live readings, and creative activities with the kids. In addition, will we post regular updates to our blog and social media channels.

4. Time Commitment: The program will require one, 90-minute online meeting per week for four weeks (time to be determined based on the time zones of those taking part). However, additional activities - designed to improve core literacy skills and EQ - will be provided. We would like for each participating group to commit to working on these additional elements.

5. Media: Ability to film, take photos, and record audio of the children.

6. Parental Permissions: We will provide the legal document, but it is very important that we have permission from parents to record their children and their work.

7. Cost: There is no cost to take part in the pilot, other than the time of the adults taking part.
