The Harford County Health Department Minority Health Program would like to cordially invite you to attend the annual I*WE*YOU MATTER YOUTH SYMPOSIUM.  Our theme this year is Lit Empowerment, “Equipping our young men with the tools to level up in life, from dealing with challenges to smashing their goals.” on Saturday, May 18th, from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm. at the Ward Y in Abingdon located at 101 Walter Ward Blvd, Abingdon, MD 21009. Our target audience will be middle to high-school young men. 

Previous symposiums were very well attended and positively embraced. This year, we welcome Derrick McPhearson, founder of Determined to Make A Change, Inc. He will present a hands-on presentation titled "Nutrition for the Mind: Unveiling the Positive Effects of a Healthy Diet on Mental Well-being.” Co-Pastor Danton Whitley, Refuge Temple C.O.G.I.C., will be our host and guide for Escape the Forest Scavenger Hunt.
