2024 WVU Kendrick Center for an Ethical Economy Summer Program Registration

If you do not live in West Virginia or work as an educator in West Virginia, please do not register for this summer program.

The goal of those workshops is to bring educators together from across West Virginia to sample fundamental concepts in Ethics and Economics. Visit our summer workshop website for details about the workshop experience.

Additionally, all workshop participants have the opportunity to apply for a full scholarship for a WVU MS Economics degree.

Workshop Session - Available to all educators

Graduate Course - Get a jump on the first class by taking the first class in the MS Economics degree for newcomers. Available during the second week to all educators who are accepted into the MS Economics program. (Returning teachers who want to take ECON 525, please indicated by selecting *Week 2 only*)

Teachers can get the $60 application fee waived by emailing Thomas Westbrook after submitting their graduate application. Be sure to state that you are pursuing the Kendrick Educators Program, or your request will be denied.

Thank you for your interest.  Your submission will be processed shortly and your week(s) of participation will be confirmed by individual email. Space is limited. If we are overwhelmed with registrations, we will focus on those teachers who are open to further study. 

We will use your information as given above to make the hotel and meal reservations on your behalf. We will send your accommodation room confirmation(s) by May 15, 2024. As a reminder, each week-long event includes four room nights (Sunday - Wednesday), one reception and dinner on Sunday, breakfast snacks, four lunches, and eight breaks.

For your stipends, W-9s will be distributed and collected on site.
