Yo yo yo, you know what time it is? Time to get out into da woods and carry all the stuff you need on yo back. We are incredibly excited to host this trip because last spring was gross and no backpacking occurred. But then we had a mild winter and now get to go into da woods together. So this trip is simple, one night of backpacking on the Morrison Trail. There will be 12.6mi of hiking on this lollypop loop, with the part repeating only being .5 mi so lots of new sights! We will be leaving early morning of April 1st (7-8am) and will return afternoon Sunday April 2nd. This trail features lots of stream crossings so make sure you have waterproof boots or a quick camp shoe you can switch into. (I also like to bring at least one pole if I am doing a bunch of stream crossings, I am clumbsy and 3 points of contact man) This totally doable over the span of 2 days so this trip is open to beginners as well as the stinky dirtbags, but be warned there are no toilets. We will be providing group water filters, first aide kits, stoves and bear spray in addition to the items you can request in the form below.
