How does Music work at our school?

Music lessons are run privately by the itinerant tutors at Casebrook Intermediate during school hours. Contact details for each of the tutors are available on their beginning of year letter as well as price breakdowns for individual or group lessons - these vary according to the tutor.

We provide the appropriate space and communicate with our tutors about timetabled school events - it is up to the music tutor and clients to communicate about lesson catchups, or missed lessons protocols etc. Contact details for each of the tutors are available on their beginning of year letter. Timetables for music lessons will also be available in the daily notices (on the school website).

What do we have on offer in 2023?

We have the following tutors currently and expect to continue with the same or similar options:

- Guitar with 'Monster Music'

- Drums

- Piano

- Singing

- Violin

On request we will do our best to source tutors for the instruments below:

- Flute

- Clarinet

- Saxophone

- Trumpet

- Trombone

Itinerant lessons will commence at various stages dependent on the tutor from the week of Monday 20th February 2023 unless you are informed otherwise.
