The Sophie Spencer Scholarship 2023
Macclesfield Musical Theatre Troupe is accepting applications for their annual scholarship programme. The scholarship will be awarded to one student aged between 8 and 18 following an informal application and audition process. Applications will initially be narrowed down to a 'Top 3' and, from there, a judging panel will decide the student to be awarded The Sophie Spencer Scholarship for 2023.

The scholarship is in the memory of Sophie Spencer who tragically died in 2014. Sophie was a talented performer who loved to sing, act and dance. MMTT's Troupe Leader and Musical Theatre Teacher, Nicola Crooks (nee Spencer) is Sophie's cousin and is excited to honour her cousin, and best friend, with this scholarship.
