Cleveland Casino Money Survey
Cleveland has had a casino operating in its downtown for a little more than a decade. Ohio voters approved a deal that gives local governments a cut of the money casinos make. Each year, a portion of that money goes to Cuyahoga County's government and another portion goes to Cleveland to be spent by the city's administration and by each council member. City Council refers to this money as "casino revenue funds." We'll keep it simple and call it "casino money."  With this survey, we hope to understand what residents know about casino money and how they think it should be spent.
