Olive enjoyed making the most of her fourth grade year by trying several new activities. She was excited to have the opportunity to start serving at school and weekend masses when they brought back volunteer servers at her home parish of Saint Matthew. Olive has also been busy with her 4H club, Diligent Ones, preparing her fair projects and participating in volunteer activities such as food drives and cleaning up a Posey County playground. Playing tennis has afforded Olive the opportunity to become comfortable working alone and with a partner on the court. Olive also continues to be involved with fundraising efforts for The Isaiah 1:17 Project, attends gymnastics and voice lessons, and she loves to sing, dance, and read in her free time.
Tonight, Olive is dressed in her tennis best - her matching skort and top in pastel yellow represent her sunny outlook on life. Rather than glass slippers, she wears bright cheery tennis shoes to help her make it to the ball. Her perfume is a mix of sunscreen and determination, and her neon racquet complements her bright personality. She plans to continue playing tennis for Mount Vernon until she graduates high school. Olive's immediate goals include making high honors again in fifth grade, mastering her back handspring, and taking at least one of her 4H projects to the state fair. Long term goals of Olive's include graduating high school at the top of her class, singing professionally, and pursuing degrees in business and fashion design. Most importantly, however, she wants a family with four children to love!
