STEAM PK-5 Books Program Registration

This program is for PK-5 teachers looking for ways to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) in culturally relevant and meaningful ways! The UCI Science Project has transitioned our STEAM program completely online in order to meet the demands of teachers. We hope to continually engage with you asynchronously and provide you the opportunity to bring back resources for your students.

Each month, we will release 2 book titles. One book title will include the book, material kit, and activity packet. (Limited availability.) The other book title will only be a digital read aloud and activity packet. Please complete this form to indicate which book title you are interested in. You can select both!

After completing this form, please wait for a welcome email from our learning platform, eKadence before the 1st of the month. On eKadence, you will receive an overview of each STEAM book you selected, an insight on how to implement the learning activities in your class, and opportunities to purchase salary credit(s) through the UCI Division of Continuing Education.

Opportunity for Salary Credits

To qualify for UCI Continuing Education Units (CEU)/Salary Credits, you must complete the following:

A) (Qualifies for 1 CEU*) Complete 2 different STEAM PK-5 Book courses (100% completion) and upload at least 3 student artifacts, pictures, or videos as proof of teaching for each book title. (A minimum of 1 upload per STEAM title.)

B) (Qualifies for 2 CEU) Complete 4 different STEAM PK-5 Book courses (100% completion) and upload at least 6 student artifacts, pictures, or videos as proof of teaching for each book title. (A minimum of 1 upload per STEAM title.)

*Each CEU costs $170. Information on purchasing will be on eKadence.
