Drum Lessons with Mitch!
Mitch is currently offering a limited number of private drum lessons over Zoom!

Whether you're a complete beginner, have played for a while or anywhere in between, Mitch has been teaching for many, many years and would love to hear from you.

No drum kit necessary to get started, although sticks and a drum pad are highly recommended (Mitch can help you in determining which to buy).

Below are just some of the areas that Mitch can assist you with developing:

• Reading drum notation (which occurs concurrently with learning grooves and how to mix between them)

• Hand/feet exercises and technique (these include "rudiments" and limb interplay/independence work)

• Playing along with music/learning songs (which is done using an exam book syllabus so that they're tailored to your level and grow with you)

• Exploring different musical styles and learning about the nuances of each

• How to establish an efficient and effective practice routine

Mitch will of course do his best to tailor lessons to what you're interested in learning and design a "pathway" for you to reach your goals as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Lessons can be on a regular schedule (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) or can simply be booked as required, depending on Mitch's availability.

This question is to help Mitch get a better understanding of what you would like to achieve with your lessons. Maybe you want to learn the basics, have a question about a rudiment, paradiddles, or about your grip. Whatever it may be, this is the place to let Mitch know.
