Accessing the Deep 2025 - Application Form

Thank you for your interest in Ocean Discovery League's Accessing the Deep: Deep Ocean Training & Mentoring Program 2025.

This program will focus on fundamental technical and oceanographic knowledge, emphasizing low-cost, accessible methods for exploring depths greater than 200 meters through a combination of interactive online training sessions, expert-led discussions, and personalized mentorship.

Please fill out the application form thoughtfully to help us understand your background and goals.

Important Notes:

  • Dates: June 10 to August 26, 2025, with mentorship for selected participants from September to December 2025.
  • Online Sessions: Tuesdays at 11am-1pm NZST (UTC +12) / Mondays at 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM EDT (UTC -4). Please check your local time to ensure availability.
  • Language: English.
  • Attendance: Active participation and at least 80% attendance are required for mentorship eligibility.

We strongly encourage applications from individuals passionate about ocean exploration, regardless of their background or experience. We particularly welcome applications from the Western and Southern Pacific Islands.
