Career Exploration Workshop RSVP                       January 21st, 2022. Time: 3-4:15 pm
Sheng-Yen Lu Foundation is excited to invite immigrant and refugee students to a career exploration workshop. This event is intended for college students and students in their senior year of high school with immigrant and refugee backgrounds. It is not appropriate for younger students.

We plan to have four speakers from four different fields: Computer Science (Microsoft), Engineering (Boeing), Health Care (ICHS), and Finance (Morgan Stanley).  Each speaker will be given 10-12 minutes to share their advice and we will have 20-30 minutes for questions at the end of the event.

The speakers will cover the following questions:
1. What types of careers in your field are available to recent college graduates?
2. What type of preparation is necessary for those careers in terms of education, internships, etc.?
3. Additional advice for how students can best prepare themselves to be successful in these fields.

This is not a job fair and speakers will not be offering employment opportunities. Attendees should not ask questions about specific job opportunities. We are simply hoping to provide students with information about how they can better prepare for future careers in these four fields.

The deadline for submitting this form is January 6th, 2022. A Zoom link will be sent out a week before the event to the email that you provide here.
