Becoming a classroom parent volunteer is a great way to connect with the Brunswick Acres School Community and become involved with the PTO. Volunteers will work with the teacher to plan 3 class parties (Fall, Winter, & End of the Year), as well as collect money from other parents in their class to fund the parties and purchase teacher gifts. Volunteers will receive full guidance from the PTO on various responsibilities including: party planning, gifting, fundraising, uploading pictures to the yearbook portal and connecting to your class in Konstella.
Collection of interested volunteers will open on September 2nd and close on September 30th. In cases of abundant volunteers, we may operate with a rotating assistant room parent schedule. Chosen volunteers will be notified prior to the September 30th Zoom call. All room parents are expected to attend the first PTO meeting (in-person at BA) for an introduction on the above-mentioned guidance and a demonstration of the Konstella application.
We especially encourage parents of new students to sign up! Whether you're a first-time Pre-K parent or have just moved to our school, the PTO will fully support you in becoming a room parent volunteer.
