OpenSidewalks #Map4DataEquity Team Challenge: Mapping Pedestrian Spaces
Thank you for participating in the OpenSidewalks Team Challenge, where your team's diverse talents create better tech-for-good! Please use this form to register your team for the team challenge event.

What is this challenge doing?
Your team helps your community by building an informative pedestrian map which will help everyone make safe and accessible decisions about pedestrian routes in their communities.

Teams can include 1-4 persons.
Teams must select at least 1 Team Lead.
Teams will need to complete a Team Challenge Submission Form at the end of their mapping period.

Whether you are a mapper, innovator, designer, software developer, data scientist, educator, student or if you are simply motivated to help your community, we encourage you to get involved in the Team Challenge. We believe every person can have a role and there’s an opportunity to cooperate with others to improve the lives of many and contribute to our democratic process.
 
Follow these steps to start making a difference:
Step 1 – Join The Team Challenge
Register to join the Team Challenge to get access to the community. (FILL OUT THIS FORM!)

Step 2 – Build Your Team
Interact with the community around you to bring the right people onboard your team.

Step 3 – Start Mapping Based on the OpenSidewalks Standard
Use the Guidelines to map pedestrian infrastructure for a community.

Step 4 – Complete Your Team Submission
Registered Teams will be sent a Team Challenge Submission Form link which they must turn in by the deadline stated in the Team Challenge Terms and Conditions. The submission form will detail the instructions. All submissions will be scored as described in the Team Challenge Terms and Conditions.
