About the STARTUP10 Project
The East Africa Entrepreneurs Association (EAEA) collaborates
with CIHEAM Bari, Italy, on the "STARTUP10 Project." This initiative
targets ten partner countries, including Uganda, aiming to enhance food
security and youth employment in the "green" and "blue"
economy sectors. The project focuses on training young graduates in these
sectors, strengthening managerial skills, and consolidating 140 local
start-ups. Additionally, it promotes collaboration between local start-ups and
Italian SMEs, facilitates technical training in applied high technology in
agriculture, and collaborates with the International Trade Agency (ITA).
Expected outcomes include strengthened business incubators, empowered local
start-ups, enhanced collaborations, training for sustainable development, and
technical training in high-tech agriculture. The project aspires to contribute
to innovation, support entrepreneurship, and foster sustainable practices in
East Africa.
Call for Participation
Who Should Apply?
Entrepreneurs
and innovators with projects or ideas aligned with the "Green" and
"Blue" economy sectors, contributing to sustainable development in
the partner countries.
