Your dance entry can be in any dance style and can use your own troupe, we simply have one requirement - that your entry be less than ten-minutes.
The two best dance acts, as voted by our industry experts and our audience, will advance to the Short+Sweet Illawarra Gala Finals, alongside the best acts of our other performance strands.
Information
Short+Sweet Dance is a festival of 10 minute dance pieces. We provide a platform for independent choreographers, dancers, and companies to experiment with new ideas, concepts and movement styles. Short+Sweet Dance develops emerging talent, fosters industry relations, and develops new audiences for dance.
Short+Sweet Dance caters to audiences who want to experience new dance works served to them in pint-sized presentations.

Performances: 7:30pm Thursday 3rd, Friday 4th and Saturday 5th August
Gala Final Showcase: 25th and 26th of August
