關於計劃

2016年至2020年間，小冷水具特殊科學價值地點的越冬斑蝶數量有所下降。為了更加有效地保育越冬斑蝶，並增加小冷水具特殊科學價值地點的斑蝶數量，環境保護署將小冷水已修復堆填區的中部和西部平台規劃作蝴蝶保育區，並委託環保協進會進行生態保育計劃，旨在擴大蝴蝶棲息地面積，以吸引更多本地和越冬的蝴蝶品種，提高該處的生物多樣性

小冷水蝴蝶保育區導賞團帶領公眾認識小冷水蝴蝶保育區內的生態，與公眾共享計劃的成果，而內容會主要向公眾介紹園區內的植物、蝴蝶及生物多樣性。

而本次活動將會加入新元素，由於過年後經常有大批年桔被棄置，故我們將其收集起來轉送到小冷水蝴蝶保育區重新種植成為蝴蝶的食物。而是次導賞團除了生態導賞外，還會帶領親子親身參與修剪年桔並重新種植，而移除的年桔亦會以工作坊的形式轉化為有用的資源，令市民大眾可以從多方面認識蝴蝶生態。

- 地點 : 小冷水蝴蝶保育區
- 交通 : 旅遊巴接載公眾來回九龍塘和小冷水
- 對象：親子家庭；每個家庭最多3位 (最少包括1名5-12歲小童)
- 內容：小冷水蝴蝶保育區生態導賞、年桔種植及工作坊 (柑味無窮 – 有機柑橘香草鹽)
- 語言 : 廣東話
- 費用 : 免費 (需繳交港幣$100按金，按金會在活動完結後退回參加者)
- 報名 : 如人數超於名額，將以抽籤決定
- 截止報名日期 : 2023年3月5日 (成功參加者將於2023年3月6日或以前收取電郵確認)

About the Project

During 2016-2020, the number of overwintering Danainae in Siu Lang Shui Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) had declined. To conserve the overwintering Danainae more effectively and increase the number of Danainae in Siu Lang Shui SSSI, Environmental Protection Department (EPD) planned to utilize the middle and western platforms of the Restored Siu Lang Shui Landfill as a butterfly habitat and commissioned the Environmental Association to proceed with a conservation programme. Its purpose is to increase the butterfly living habitat area so as to attract more local and overwintering butterfly species and increase the biodiversity of the area.

Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat Ecotour

Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat guided tour will lead the public to understand the ecology of the Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat. The Ecotour will mainly include plant, butterfly and biodiversity. 

Since many tangerines are often discarded after the Chinese New Year, we collect and transfer them to the Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat and replant as food plant for butterflies. In addition to the eco-tour, the guided tour will also lead family to prune and replant the tangerines, and the removed tangerines will also be transformed into useful resources in the form of workshops.

- Date : 18 March 2023
- Location : Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat and Y·PARK
- Transportation : Tourist buses take the public from Kowloon Tong to Siu Lang Shui
- Target: Family, Maximum 3 persons per family (minimum 1 child aged 5-12 included)
- Content: Eco-tour of Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat, tangerine planting and workshop (Organic Citrus Herbal salt)
- Language : Cantonese
- Fee : Free (A deposit of HK$100 is required, the deposit will be returned to the participants after the event)
- Registration : If the quotas are exceeded, a draw will be conducted to select the participants.
- Deadline for registration: 5 March, 2023 (Successful registrants shall receive a confirmation by email to the event on or before 6 March  2023)

小冷水蝴蝶保育區一般安全指引 General Guidelines for Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat Ecotour
1. 訪客必須遵照保育區職員的指示，並留意安全及警告標示。
2. 在堆填區範圍內(包括保育區內)切勿吸煙或生火，請勿觸碰任何設施，例如氣喉、氣井、電掣。
3. 除非保育區職員同意，請勿觸碰任何植物。
4. 請勿靠近山坡、排水渠。
5. 請勿奔跑、攀爬樹木、進入貨櫃辦公室、攀上貨櫃頂。
6. 小心地面濕滑，慎防跌倒。
7. 小心移動中的車輛或機械，例如剪草機。
8. 請保持場地整潔，切勿隨處棄置垃圾。
9. 如遇緊急情況，請聽從保育區職員的指示，並保持冷靜。

1. Visitors must follow the instructions of the staff and pay attention to safety and warning signs.
2. Do not smoke or light fires within the landfill area (including the Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat), and do not touch any facilities such as gas pipes, gas wells, and electrical switches.
3. Do not touch any plants unless approved by the staff of the Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat.
4. Keep away from hillsides and drains.
5. Do not run, climb trees, enter the container office, or climb on top of the container.
6. Be careful of the slippery floors and prevent falling.
7. Be careful of moving vehicles or machinery, such as lawnmowers.
8. Please keep the venue clean and tidy, do not throw garbage anywhere.
9. In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of the staff and remain calm.
惡劣天氣安排 Adverse weather arrangement
1. 活動開始兩小時前，天文台發出「紅色或黑色暴雨警告信號」，當日活動將會取消，活動將延期進行。
2. 活動開始前兩小時內及活動開始後，天文台發出「紅色或黑色暴雨警告信號」，當日活動會繼續，並主要留在室內進行。
3. 天文台發出「八號預警 ／ 八號 或以上熱帶氣旋警告信號」，當日活動將會立刻取消。

1. If the Red or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued 2 hours prior to the event starts, the event will be cancelled and postponed.
2. If the Red or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued within 2 hours before the event starts or after the event starts, the event will continue and be held indoors.
3. If the Typhoon Signal Pre-No. 8 / No. 8 or above is issued, the event will be cancelled immediately.
小冷水蝴蝶保育區生態導賞團健康安全指引 Health & Safety Guidelines for Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat Ecotour
1. 訪客必須保持良好的個人衞生。
2. 避免觸摸眼睛、口和鼻。
3. 打噴嚏或咳嗽時應用紙巾掩蓋口鼻。
4. 不要隨地吐痰或亂拋垃圾。
5. 洗手時應以梘液和清水清潔雙手。
6. 為了盡量減低感染和傳播 2019 冠狀病毒病的風險，訪客須要在進入保育區前配戴自備的口罩，並量度體溫。當出現發燒或呼吸道感染病徵，要取消到訪，應戴上外科口罩，並盡快求醫。
7. 在進入保育區後，盡量與他人保持適當的社交距離。

1. Visitors must maintain good personal hygiene.
2. Avoid touching eyes, mouth and nose.
3. Cover the mouth and nose with tissue paper when sneezing or coughing.
4. Do not spit or litter.
5. Wash hands with liquid soap and water
6. To minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission,  visitors are required to wear masks and have body temperature checked before entering the Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat. When having fever or respiratory illnesses, wear a surgical mask, cancel visits and seek medical advice promptly.
7. After entering the Siu Lang Shui Butterfly Habitat, visitors should maintain social distance from others as much as possible.
