Back to the Bay 2024

Please submit proposals here for this year's Back to the Bay by Friday, May 10th, 2024.

Welcoming proposals that provide new and innovative ways to think about, support, and work with our campus community.  This can include classroom strategies to help our diverse student body (i.e., universal design, innovative teaching practices, course redesign, culturally responsive and inclusive pedagogy and teaching, student retention, alternative student assessments, peer to peer learning, transparent assignments); and programs and ideas for supporting faculty and staff development (i.e., managing workload, creating community, understanding CSUEB data, managing multiple roles, career transitions).  If you have implemented and/or been involved in a campus program that has proven successful please consider presenting.  

Proposals that emphasize interactive audience experiences are especially welcome. Interactive experiences go beyond presentations/panels and involve participants in learning activities.

 Back to the Bay will be a fully on campus event and be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024.
