DANCE ON THE SQUARE Main Stage 2021 Registration

Dance on the Square Main Stage classes begin on Tuesday, January 19th and will run through Saturday, June
12th. A recital will take place at the end of the session - more details to come based on Covid-19 social distancing protocols. All classes offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings will be available virtually, should your family choose to keep your dancer home this season. Dancers will have the opportunity to join the live class from the comfort of their own home.

Please note we are taking a different approach than our traditional 10 week session this winter/spring. Our Main Stage session will consist of 20 weeks of class, with a week off for spring break the week of March 28th through April 5th. We are excited for your dancers to develop a true understanding of the technique, and apply it to their show stopping choreography that you'll witness at our recital! Your registration now includes a recital costume that your dancer will keep after the recital!

Covid-19 Updates to our program:
- No more than 9 dancers will be permitted in a class.
- Dancers will arrive at either the front or side entrance, depending on where their class is located.
- Dancers will have their temperature checked at the door. Any dancer with a temperature over 100.4 will need to
return home.
- Parents say goodbye at the door and pick your dancer up at the door when class is over. No parents will be
permitted in the building during class time to reduce the number of bodies indoors.
- Dancers will head straight to the bathroom to wash hands, then head to their studio room.
- Studio rooms have been prepared with taped dance floor space, 6 feet apart. In addition, dancers will have
their own socially distanced area to place their dance bags.
- Please make sure your dancer's belongings are labeled clearly.
- In accordance with Maryland's Mask Mandate; Dancers and Teachers over the age of 5 are required to wear
masks indoors. It is strongly encouraged that ALL dancers in Combo classes and older wear a mask throughout class.
- Should the studio need or be required to close, classes will continue at their scheduled time through a virtual
platform.
- If your dancer is feeling under the weather or exhibiting any symptoms we ask that they please remain home for
the week.

Classes will be held at Church on the Square - 1025 S. Potomac Street Baltimore, MD 21224 Due to the size of our program, no refunds can be issued after the first week of class. Thank you.

(CLASS FULL) Thursday 5:15 - 6:45 Combination Class Level I "Ballet, Jazz/HipHop, and Tap" Level I is designed for dancers, typically ages 5 - 6, who are prepared for 90 minutes of technical instruction developed through games, technique and choreography. $480

Thursday 5:00 - 6:30 Combination Class Level II "Ballet, Jazz/HipHop, and Tap" Level II is designed for those dancers, typically ages 7 and older, who are looking to grow as a dancer, focusing on new and exciting ways to bring their technique to their choreography. $480

Thursday 7:00 - 8:00 Technique Thursday: Dancers will focus on developing their dance technique, touching on different styles, throughout the 10 week session. Dancers will not learn recital choreography during this class, as their focus is on improving their overall form. (Ages 7 and up) $230

Saturday 8:00 - 8:45 Advanced Ballet Technique/Pre-Pointe is designed for students ages 8 and up who are looking to increase their ballet technical skills and prepare for pointe. $220

Saturday 9:00 - 10:30 Level I "Ballet, Jazz/HipHop, and Tap" Level I is designed for dancers, typically ages 5 - 7, who are prepared for 90 minutes of technical instruction developed through games, technique and choreography. $480

Saturday 10:45 - 11:45 Tap/Ballet/Creative Movement Combination Class (Ages 3 - 4y) $420
