Outstanding Educator - Is given to a teacher, assistant, custodian, bus driver or administrator who goes beyond the normal expectations of the job to make the learning environment at Carriage Crest Fun, nurturing, beneficial and/or challenging.

Golden Acorn - Recognizes a volunteer, teacher, or Carriage Crest staff member who has gone the extra mile to make a difference for our students at Carriage Crest. It is a person whose hard work goes beyond expectations. This award is given to recognize service "above and beyond" a particular job description.

Outstanding Advocate - Honors an individual for his/her advocacy work on behalf of children and youth. Recipients demonstrate a commitment to helping create strong policies relating to the health, welfare, safety, and education through PTA legislation, private organizations, education, and/or commnity outreach programs. Staff members or volunteers who speak up for students or who try to change things for he benefit of children are considered advocates.

Why does your nominee deserve the award?

All award winners will be honored at school and with an invitation to the annual Founder's Day Event on Friday, April 24, 2020. We hope you will help by nominating award recipients. Our PTSA awards committee will make the final selection.

A nomination for these awards is a wonderful way to say, "Thank you for all you do!"
