Work Experience mailing list
We have a small number of placements available on the farm each year. We prioritise applications from young people aged 16-18 (16-24 with additional needs/ disabilities) from marginalised groups, who live close to the farm and who are able to work independently. Each placement is 3 months long, one day a week on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of work experience on the farm. We have three intakes a year, in October, January and April.

Farm work can be physically demanding. You'll be outside in all weathers rain or shine, and you will get mucky. After initial supervised training, you would be expected to carry out tasks independently on the farm. Are you willing and able to do this?

Do you have any additional needs or disabilities that you would like us to be aware of? (e.g. anxiety, adhd, autism, any physical health needs). If yes, please tell us here - we want the sessions to be accessible to all and will support you wherever possible.
(We strive to be an inclusive space where everyone is able participate. Some students may need a higher level of support to access the farm than we are currently able to offer within our existing programs. In these circumstances, we ask that a support worker attends to assist or that we find an alternative way for you to get involved.
