Senior Class Trip Student and Parent Contract
SENIOR CLASS TRIP, STUDENT AND PARENT CONTRACT
TRIP DESTINATION: Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida
1. This is a school sponsored trip. Board policies, school rules, regulations, and consequences are applicable.
2. Students found under the influence or in possession of any controlled dangerous substances will be remanded to local law enforcement. Parents will be responsible for adjudicating the matter with local law enforcement.
3. Students who engage in serious misconduct will be sent home with a chaperone. Parents will be responsible for assuming any and all travel expenses of the student and the chaperone for the return trip home.
4. Students are expected to attend the trip free from the influence of drugs and alcohol. Students that do not comply will be in violation of Board Policy #5530 and will be denied participation. No refund will be issued.
5. Students are to conduct themselves as ladies and gentleman at all times. Remember, you represent Old Bridge High School.
6. Hotel rooms must be vacated by 9:00 a.m. each day and there will be no access to the room until the designated afternoon time period. Make sure to bring everything you will need for the day (small bag, sunscreen, etc.).
7. Curfew is determined by the chaperones. All students are required to return to their rooms before this time.
8. Students are expected to be on time for curfew and remain in their rooms once curfew has occurred.
9. Students are prohibited from leaving the Walt Disney World Resort area.
10. Students will be held financially and/or criminally responsible for any damages to Disney property by Walt Disney World.
11. Each student is limited to one checked bag weighing no more than 50 pounds and one carry-on bag that must adhere to airline regulations. Please be sure that luggage has a clearly written identification tag with pertinent contact information.
12. Students who are 18 years of age or older are required to have a government issued photo identification for travel. Students who are 17 years of age or younger are required to have a school issued photo identification card.
13. Students who are suspended out of school on the dates that encompass the trip will NOT be allowed to attend the trip and will forfeit all monies paid.
14. School officials reserve the right to search a student's person and his/her personal belongings.
15. The school reserves the right to exclude student participation on this trip as a result of academic, disciplinary, or attendance status/issues. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances if the student is denied participation.
16. Parents agree to assume all supervisory and financial responsibility should the need arise for the student to be sent home for any reason.
17. Parents agree to assume all responsibility for transportation of my child, should the need arise for him/her to be sent home while on the trip.
18. Excessive absences could result in removal from the trip.
