Feeling Better Pain Management Programme for Children with Autism
This research study is examining the current online version of the Feeling Better pain management programme for children with Autism. It aims to understand how suitable it is for children with autism and what modifications are required.
My name is Rachel Fitzpatrick. I am a PhD student in the School of Psychology at National University of Ireland, Galway. I would like to invite you and your child to take part in this study that will examine this online interactive pain management programme for children with autism who experience pain. Participation will involve you are your child having access to the online programme. Followed by an Interview with the researcher discussing the programme (ie. likes, dislikes, usability, etc.). After the modifications have been made you will be invited to have access to the Feeling Better ASD Programme.
I am working under the supervision of Dr. Helena Lydon and Professor. Brian McGuire
Before you take part in the study you are required to answer some questions (below) about your child to ensure that they met the requirements for this study.
