Research on Chatbots
A chatbot is a piece of software that conducts a conversation via auditory or textual methods. In the context of the EDUBOTS - Best practices of pedagogical chatbots in higher education - Erasmus Plus Project (https://www.edubots.eu/), funded by the EC, you are invited to participate in our pilot study which is taking place during the fall academic semester 2020. For more information on the use case, please visit the link: https://join.edubots.eu/sign-up and/or watch the short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bc4SmQluEUQ

In this pilot, we are testing 2 scenarios:

1) Course community and Frequently asked Questions (FAQs)
Create a course community for academic purposes, in which your students can communicate with you, and mentors/teaching assistants of the course. Organize FAQs related to administration of the course (e.g., deadlines, submissions) and content-related topics (e.g., on core concepts of the course).

2) Informal peer-to-peer community
Create an informal online community in which your students can chat with each other for topics related to your course and open community topics around their hobbies/interests. Promote inclusion and social interaction among all students, especially for students who do not use other social media platforms for connecting to their peers.
